When I graduated from high school, I was blessed to have been qualified to take any university degree that I wanted. My dad suggested if I would like to take up a bachelor’s degree in education. He said teaching facilitates learning no matter how old I get. So I did. I became a teacher.
True enough, I am learning about new stuff until now in my course of work. I attended an educators’ forum in Melbourne. One of the topics was about empowering ourselves. Taking care of ourselves first will enable us to help children and young adults handle life’s ups and downs so that they can become positive, resilient and confident members of the community. I urge you, dear family, friends and anyone reading this post, to keep on learning new things and new skills.
