A Prayer for First Time Mothers

Dear Lord, I pray for all first time mothers, young mothers and all mothers with young children. Thank You for letting them experience the best role: motherhood.

Lord, I pray for their physical strength, emotional stability and mental health. May You please equip them with the knowledge and the wisdom that they need in their gruelling but rewarding role. May You surround them with people who will be there for them when they need help, support or just listening ears and company.

Lord, I pray that when the times get overwhelming and exhausting for them, when they feel they cannot go on with the challenges of motherhood anymore, they would look up to You for renewal of their strength, for guidance and for direction.

May they not forget to take care of themselves. May they be reassured of their precious and priceless value. May they feel unattractive, may they believe that they are far worth more than rubies and diamonds. May they exemplify that charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

May their partners stay loving, loyal, supportive and faithful to them at all times.

In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.

To all mothers in the world, HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

It is my prayer that God will bestow us His overflowing blessings of unwavering faith, wisdom, good health, strength, peace, patience, integrity, hope and joy.

Cheers to all mothers: the caretakers, comforters, nurturers, encouragers and trainers of the children God gifted them with. Be proud in what you do and of who you are: a Mother! You deserve all the accolades.
