We Can Never Please Everyone

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things.

Galatians 5:22-23

It is my prayer that the fruit of the Holy Spirit be evident in the way we live.

We can never please everyone. There will always be people who will judge us, criticise us, gossip about us, put us down, reject us and hurt us. Hurting people tend to hurt others. Insecure people tend to put others down. Negative people only see the worse in others. No matter what you do, you will still never be good enough.

Let us go against the flow. Let us choose to rise above every situation. Let us encourage and build one another up. When we stop being negative and being critical of those around us, we can see the beauty and the blessings surrounding us. Let us focus on what is uplifting. Let us be bearers of love and of light.

Here is a prayer for all of us:

Dear Lord, please strengthen our faith. May we not be shaken from the influences of this world. May we all exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. Please help us to grow in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control through Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
